Our structure
We bring together groups of young citizens involved in public life around the world. These groups are called « ActualiTeams« .
ActualiTeams come together in an international parliament, with the presidency rotating between them. The international parliament is a place for exchange and the creation of links between the young members of the different ActualiTeams. It has 3 missions:
- Create synergies between the projects of the various ActualiTeams.
- Respond to calls for contributions to consultations by various institutions, notably on the promotion of civil society involvement and participation in international bodies. (UNESCO, UN…)
- Guide the work of the Federation’s ambassadors in the institutions with which it is associated.
Each ActualiTeam works on its projects independently of the others, but benefits from the support of the Federation’s administration.
The FIJC administration acts as a link between the institutions and the ActualiTeams, proposing calls for institutional projects.
The FIJC administration is made up of 8 different departments (listed below). Each department has a representative and several team leaders, depending on the mission.
The governing bodies are the Steering Committee, elected by all members of the administration. Its mission is to respond to emergencies, and it is composed of one representative per department.
The Steering Committee complements the Extended Steering Committee, elected by all IFJC members at the Annual General Meeting. It votes on the broad lines of the FIJC’s administration. It is itself made up of all representatives and team leaders.
